Sibmah

A Moabite city east of the Jordan, known especially for its vineyards which features in prophetic laments over Moab's destruction. Isaiah and Jeremiah invoke its fertile fields in warnings of judgment, suggesting it was a prosperous wine-producing region. Reuben had settled the area originally during the tribal land division.
