Rezin was king of Syria who allied with Pekah of Israel against King Ahaz of Judah, besieging Jerusalem. Though they could not take the city, their invasion prompted Ahaz to seek help from Assyria, which led to Judah's eventual subjugation. Isaiah prophesied against Rezin, and his kingdom was eventually conquered by Assyria.
